fucking fuck fuck fuck
Apparently the company that im working for is being brought out in the next few months. While we have been assured that we will not be let go and going over the legal paperwork we made sure that it was in the paperwork the biggest change is going to be in the dress code for events and generally around the office. I deal with events and equipment and rarely with actual clients up front but I do deal with them at the venues and event sites so on a daily basis I wear a polo shirt with the company logo on it and either black emt pants or a pair of darker jeans. With the new ownership thats coming all upper level employees are required to wear a suit to work. The wording more or less was “Dark jacket, vest, pants, and dress shirt with tie(color unimportant), dark socks and shoes to be worn at all times. This is fine for the sales guys I guess but with the way that the structure of the company is all crew leads are technically upper level which means with this contract as it is requires them to adhere to the dress code. This doesnt sit well with me because climbing truss in a suit is not the greatest thing in the world. Hopefully we can talk the mighty disney corporation down to a more realistic dress code for working.
my jobs better than yours.
Oh Hai 2 weeks at the least of overnights. Yay life
My thought on theater
A perfect opening night or a preview is like Bigfoot or Nessie, some people think that it exists, and that they have seen it but its something that almost never happens, sort of like religion…..
